LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's golf team will play its second fall tournament this weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the William H. Tucker Invitational from Friday-Saturday at UNM Championship Course (par 72, 7,555 yards).
THE FIELD: The Rebels will compete among a 15-team field. Along with the host Lobos, they will go up against No. 23 BYU, No. 24 Arizona, Arkansas State, Colorado, Grand Canyon, Long Beach State, Missouri, New Mexico State, San Diego State, Santa Clara, SMU, UC Santa Barbara and UTEP.
UNLV LINEUP: Representing the Scarlet & Gray will be sophomore
Aaron Van Hauwe, senior
Zach Little, senior
Ryan Abuan, junior
Avery Lazarski and senior
Mason Snyder. In his first start since joining the Rebels, junior
Mason Haley will be playing as an individual.
SCHEDULE: The tournament will begin with two rounds on Friday, followed by Saturday's final round.

NEWS & NOTES:
- In their season opener at the Fighting Illini Invitational, the Rebels finished 11th while landing ahead of a pair of top-25 ranked programs. Among the ranked teams they placed ahead were No. 16 Texas A&M and No. 20 Florida State. Additionally, three Rebels placed in the top 25.
- UNLV returns five players and brings in four transfers to its roster for the 2026-27 campaign.
- Among the Rebel returners are seniors Zach Little, Ryan Abuan and Mason Snyder, as well as sophomores Aaron Van Hauwe and Nico Bencomo.
- The Scarlet & Gray transfer additions include senior Baylor Bostick (Central Oklahoma), juniors Avery Lazarski (Saint Mary's) and Mason Haley (Kansas City), and sophomore Jack Taylor (K-State).
- A former touring professional golfer and Rebel All-American, Andres Gonzales was named the fourth full-time head coach in the proud history of the men's golf program at UNLV this past May.
- Gonzales is also the first former player to lead the Rebel men's golf program.
