PERSONAL: Jarred Scott Texter was born Oct. 22, 1985, in Lancaster, Pa. ... the son of Bruce and Carla Texter ... has one older sister, Holly (25) ... majoring in communications with an emphasis in advertising. KNIGHT ON TEXTER: 'Jarred has been the mainstay of our program this last year. We have looked to him for leadership, to handle his studies and to compete. He is an awfully good player and I hope he has a breakout year his senior year here. He has been a quality student-athlete and a quality person and we have been very fortunate to have him in our program. He will do well in golf and life.'
