Rebel Notes: David begins his second season with the UNLV swimming and diving program.
2003-04: Took 14th in the 100 breast (58.93), 16th in the 200 breast (2:12.82), and 17th in the 400 IM (4:26.84) at the MWC championships.
High School: David is a 2003 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma ... member of the Oklahoma All-State Team ... named Rookie of the Year in 1999 ... State finalist and All-Edmond Team member all four years.
Personal: David Charles DeGeus was born on February 8, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawai[apos]i ... son of Dennis and Megan DeGeus ... has one brother and two sisters ... sister, Brenda, was a two-year letterwinner at UNLV ... undecided on a major ... also enjoys camping and biking.
