Biography

UNLV: A developing runner who enters her second year with the Rebels ... a solid all-around athlete who also will compete in field events ... will also run with the cross country team in the fall.

2005-06: Ran in two indoor meets in her first year at UNLV ... competed in the 800 meters at the MWC Indoor Championships, running a time of 2:30.51 ... participated in six outdoor events in the spring ... highest finish was ninth in the long jump with a leap of 17[apos]-2.00' at the UNLV Invite (4/1) ... also ran in the 400 meters three times, posting a season-best time of 59.59 at the MWC Outdoor Championships (5/13).

High School: A 2005 graduate of Birmingham HS ... Patriots won the city track and field championship her senior year under coach Scott King ... was the squad[apos]s most valuable runner in 2005 ... all-city in the 800 meters her junior and senior year ... sits third on the Birmingham HS all-time list in the 800 meters with a time of 2:17.
