Biography
UNLV: One of the Rebels[apos] most talented returners ... A very strong sprinter ... top event is the 400 meters, an event she won two titles in last year ... also a strong relay runner ... will be looked upon as a leader this year .
2004-05 (Junior): Competed in both the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Rebels ... best individual finish during the indoor season was a second-place finish in the 400 meters at the Springco Invitational, when she ran a time of 57.10 ... also ran on the championship 4x400 relay team (4:01.91) at that meet ... earned eighth place in the 400 meters (57.35) at the MWC Indoor Championships and also ran on the 4x400 meter relay team that took fifth (3:52.29) ... started the outdoor season with a first-place finish in the 400 meters (55.86) at the Stanford Invitational ... won the 400 meter title (55.41) at the Cal-Nevada Championships three meets later and also ran a leg on the championship 4x400 relay team (3:43.66) ... her time in the 400 at the Cal-Nevada Championships was a career best ... finished ninth in the 400 meters (55.99) at the MWC Outdoor Championships and added a fourth-place finish (3:45.66) as part of the 4x400 relay team.
2003-04 (Sophomore): Ran on UNLV[apos]s 4x400 relay team that finished third at the MWC Outdoor Championships ... placed 11th in the 400 at the MWC Outdoor Championships with a time of 56.57 ... finished 21st in the 200 meters at the Steve Scott Invitational with a time of 25.78 ... finished 27th in the 200 meters at the MWC Indoor Championships with a time of 26.70 ... placed 10th in the 400 meters at the Mountain T[apos]s with a time of 59.21.
2002-03 (Freshman): Redshirted
High School: Graduated in 2002 from Silverado High in Las Vegas, NV ... state champion in the 4x400 relay in 1999 ... broke school record in the 400 meters with a time of 58.4 seconds as a senior ... also named Female Athlete of the Year in 2002 ... state runner-up in the 400 meters ... named first team all-division and all-conference selection in basketball and volleyball ... team captain in basketball, volleyball and track.
