(2003-04 Sophomore): Did not compete during the indoor season ... finished 19th in the 5,000 meters at the MWC Outdoor Championships with a time of 20:18.83 ... took 59th place at the 2004 MWC Cross Country Championships, covering the course in a time of 26:58.
(2002-03 Freshman):Was the Rebels[apos] fourth-highest finisher at the 2002 MWC Cross Country Championships, placing 60th with a time of 25:28.70 ... also competed in the 800 meters and 1,500 meters during the outdoor season.
High School: Member of back-to-back district champion track and field teams in 2000 and 2001 ... state champions in 2001...two-time all-district selection in cross country ... 2001 district champion in the 800 meters ... named cross country most valuable runner in 2001 and track and field most valuable distance runner in 2002 ... lettered four years in cross country and three years in track.
Personal: Erin Noelle Hammond ... born on May 3, 1984 in Albuquerque, N.M., to Craig and Suzanne Hammond ... has two sisters, Heather (26) and Julia (22), and a brother Sean (18)... A MWC Scholar Athlete... Rebel Academic Top Ten... majoring in kinesiology.
