(2001-02 CCSN): Spent the 2001-02 year at CCSN in Las Vegas.
High School: Ran track and cross country for four years at Silverado High ... set three school records her freshman year, in the 1,500m, 3,000m, and the 4x800m relay ... three-time team MVP in track and cross country ... ran on fourth-place 4x400m relay in state meet, and was 26th as a freshman in the cross country state championships ... also played three years on the soccer team.
Personal: Ashley Atkinson Pierce ... born on May 25, 1985 in Houston, Texas, to Cary and Jill Pierce ... she has one brother, Drew (24)... was married in June to Brad Callihan...majoring in elementary education.
