Nominations are now being accepted for induction to the UNLV Athletic Hall of Fame, the school announced Feb. 12, 2004.
To be eligible for the Class of 2004, former student-athletes must have left the school by 1994 or prior and coaches and staff must have left their position at the school by 1999 or prior. Categories are: athlete, coach, athletic staff, team and distinguished contributor.
The nomination process is open to the public and the deadline for receiving the completed form is April 1, 2004. All entries should include the whereabouts of the person being nominated along with current address and phone number if at all possible.

Born in 1987, the hall last welcomed a class on Sept. 6, 2002, with the induction of the 1990-91 Final Four men's basketball team, a trio of stars from the 1990 National Champion Runnin' Rebels (Larry Johnson, Greg Anthony and Stacey Augmon), Olympic pitching hero Lori Harrigan and longtime team physician Dr. Gerald Higgins as the distinguished contributor.
