INTERN ASSISTANT ATC POSITIONS
Intern Assistant Athletic Trainer
UNLV Sports Medicine annually fills post-graduate intern assistant athletic trainer positions. Responsibilities include daily medical coverage of assigned UNLV sport(s) and team travel with assigned UNLV sport(s) during the fall and spring semesters. Additional responsibilities could include the supervision of UNLV undergraduate athletic training students as a preceptor. Interns may be assigned to the following UNLV Sports: Baseball, Football, Men's and Women's Swim and Dive, Women's Soccer, Softball, Spirit Squads, Women's Tennis & Volleyball. Interns will be assigned to sports based on experience and availability.
Additional Information:
- Applicants must be BOC certified or eligible by June (must be certified by August)
- Applicants must be Licensed or eligible for license in Nevada - http://nevadaathletictrainers.nv.gov
Compensation:
- 11-month contracts
- stipend split over 11-months
- Reimbursement for state licensure fee
- CEU opportunities through UNLV and the Mountain West Conference
