Featuring 12 events in 10 days, UNLV Athletics' Rebel Caravan is back this summer and will take place virtually.

The Rebel Caravan is back this summer and will take place virtually. A community appearance blitz that will feature 12 events in a 10-day span, it will be highlighted by the participation of three new leaders of UNLV programs --  first-year football head coach Marcus Arroyo, women's soccer head coach Jenny Ruiz-Williams and women's basketball coach Lindy La Rocque. The events will help introduce Southern Nevada to the trio as they head into their first season, while also featuring other fall Rebel programs leading into the 2020 season.

Tuesday June 9 @ 3pm #WEnotME: Building Team Culture
Kicking off the 2020 Rebel Caravan, fans are invited to learn about new head coach Marcus Arroyo’s plans and methods for elevating the UNLV Football program through team building and a culture using a #WEnotME approach. This special online event, which is free and open to the public, will be hosted by longtime Fox5 sports director Kevin Bolinger and include appearances by current UNLV senior leaders running back Charles Williams and defensive lineman Nate Neal. Wednesday June 10 @ 5:30pm Rebels Forever
It’s always a good time to be a Rebel – and now is an even more exciting time to follow Rebel Athletics with the introduction of a group of coaches that are determined to make UNLV alumni proud. Get to know two of them – new head football coach Marcus Arroyo and new women’s basketball head coach Lindy La Rocque – in this online event created exclusively for our university’s alumni. Attendees will be entered for the chance to win UNLV items during the event. Join your UNLV football student-athletes and new head coach by registering here. Thursday June 11 @ 1pm Behind the Whistle with Coach Hansen
Get a preview of the X’s and O’s of your program’s on-field Rebel scheme by joining an online chat with first-year UNLV football defensive coordinator Peter Hansen. Veteran Rebel announcer Tony Cordasco is your host to help fans get to know the former Stanford and NFL assistant who now oversees the defensive side of the ball. Friday June 12 @ 3pm Flex Friday with Coach Fyle
Flex Friday just got stronger! Join Football Head Strength & Conditioning Coach Matt Fyle live on Zoom as he discusses the key differentiator for UNLV Football's physical and mental stamina on the gridiron. 8NewsNow's Jon Tritsch will be joining Coach Fyle to talk about UNLV Football's 4th Quarter Plan and mindset and ask questions sourced from fans attending the webinar. Three Rebel Strength T-shirts, made exclusively for UNLV Football student-athletes and staff are up for grabs with winners announced during the event. Saturday June 13 @ 1pm For the Love of the Game
Hear from the best collection of women's basketball talent in the city of Las Vegas, as UNLV Head Coach Lindy La Rocque will be joined by several other Lady Rebels players, assistant coach (and Las Vegas native) Mia Bell, and Las Vegas Aces players, A'ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum live on Zoom. Sunday June 14 @ 1pm - Leading with Empathy with Coach Sullivan
Understanding a unique approach of leadership from a mother of four. Learn from UNLV Volleyball Head Coach Dawn Sullivan, how she leads her team with empathy and understanding through the disciplines of volleyball. Register here to join Coach Dawn Sullivan and middle blockers Kate Brennan and Macy Smith. In addition to leadership takeaways, one fan will be selected to win a volleyball signed by Coach Sullivan.

Monday June 15 @ 3 pm Lady Rebel Roundtable
UNLV Head Coach Lindy La Rocque, along with assistant coach Roman Owen and senior guard Bailey Thomas will participate in a live Zoom webinar Q&A. Led by moderator Ben Wilson (Lady Rebel's Rebel TV play-by-play announcer), the live talk will have the two coaches discuss the overall new approach for the Lady Rebel program, what they can expect to see from the team this year on the court, what they will bring from their previous jobs to the Scarlet & Gray, while Bailey will also be on hand to answer questions as one of this year's senior leaders. Tuesday June 16 @ 1pm Goals: Life and Soccer
UNLV Men's Soccer Head Coach Rich Ryerson and UNLV Women's Soccer Head Coach Jenny Ruiz-Williams will be the participants in this live Zoom webinar as they will talk about a variety of topics, including "Selecting The Proper College", as well as talking about leadership and team culture. Tuesday June 16 @ 5:30pm Once a Rebel, Always a Rebel Letterwinners
UNLV Athletics alumni personify our legacy and represent the foundation upon which student-athlete success is achieved today. This live virtual event is a panel with a community of former student-athletes and current coaches to discuss Letterwinners' alma mater. Join us as former Letterwinners and current coaches Jenny Ruiz-Williams & AJ McInerney, current head football coach Marcus Arroyo, and longtime ESPN personality and former Rebel quarterback Kenny Mayne welcome you back into Rebel Athletics. Wednesday June 17 @ 12:30pm Leading & Teaching Through Adversity
As educators, we are responsible for creating an environment for those we coach and teach to be their best. Even the most stable environments come with challenges. Adversity in most cases is inevitable and it comes in many forms. The question becomes when hardship strikes, how do you assess, adapt, and respond? Join Coach Marcus Arroyo, Coach T.J. Otzelberger, Coach Lindy La Rocque, and Coach Jenny Ruiz-Williams as they share strategies around leading through adversity in a changing environment and building cognitive flexibility within their teams. During the interactive discussion, our Rebel coaches will discuss how they keep their student-athletes motivated, drive engagement, and use innovation to build momentum. This webinar is exclusively for UNLV faculty & staff. Thursday June 18 @ 1:30pm - Behind the Whistle with Coach Thomas
Fresh from coaching in the Sugar Bowl, new UNLV offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Glenn Thomas sits down for an online conversation with Rebel fans along with host Tony Cordasco. Fans are invited to join by registering here and find out what the former Baylor and NFL assistant thinks of his new challenge in Las Vegas.

Thursday June 18 @ 3:30pm - Culture: The Rebel Way 
"Tell me and I'll forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I'll understand." - Legacy by James Kerr. We believe in building people, we believe in growing young women to be strong, confident, and independent. We just happen to have a successful volleyball program. Listen in and ask questions as Coach Melody Nua, rising junior setter Lauryn Burt, and rising sophomore libero Paris Oliveira discuss how UNLV volleyball's culture is built on a foundation of gratitude. The trio will share how mindset, communication and environment all play a part in the "Rebel Way." Friday June 19 @ 1pm - Let's Talk Basketball 
In head coach T.J. Otzelberger’s first year leading UNLV men’s basketball, the Runnin' Rebels tied for second place in the Mountain West, earning the program's best league finish in 12 years. UNLV also sent shockwaves through the college basketball world with its victory at then-No. 4 and previously undefeated San Diego State, which was the Runnin’ Rebels’ best true road win since 1991 - a span of 29 seasons.


On Friday, June 19 at 1 p.m., Let’s Talk Basketball! Join Otzelberger, his coaching staff (Tim Buckley, Kevin Kruger and DeMarlo Slocum), and junior guards Marvin Coleman and David Jenkins Jr., for an inside look at the UNLV men’s basketball program. The group will discuss continuing the momentum of winning five games in a row to close the regular season, expectations for the upcoming year, key newcomers to keep an eye on, team chemistry, the schedule, what they are most excited for as the season nears and much, much more.
