Nick Rush

Nick Rush enters his third season with the Rebels, being promoted after the 2024 season to the Director of Operations and Assistsant Coach after serving as a graduate student-manager at UNLV two years prior, originally joining the staff in August 2022. 

Before his time at UNLV, the Las Vegas native served as a coach for his alma mater Liberty High School for the varsity baseball team from 2017-20 and currently serves as the head coach for the youth baseball club the Las Vegas Phillies.

The 2015 Liberty High School graduate signed with Western Nevada to play second base at the junior college level, but after suffering from a back injury in late 2015 he took a year off to coach the junior varsity baseball team at Liberty during the spring season of 2016. Rush then signed to play for Chandler-Gilbert Community College for the 2016-17 season where he played 13 games, totaled 33 at bats, recorded six hits, two doubles, one triple and scored five runs.
