UNLV: Begins his second year with the Rebels ... named a Notable Newcomer by Golfweek heading into his freshman year ... he was the 16th-ranked player in the Golfweek junior rankings when he signed to play at UNLV.

2007-08: As a true freshman, played in 10 tournament totalling 30 rounds ... recorded four top-20 finishes, including two top-10s and a top-five ... his best finish was a tie for fifth at the PING Arizona Intercollegiate ... shot par five times and was under par in eight rounds ... shot in the 60s three tunes, including career-low 66s at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate and the PING Arizona Intercollegiate ... had a scoring average of 72.97, which was fifth on the team.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Lake Mary High School in Lake Mary, Fla. ... earned three varsity letters ... attended Mount Hedron High School in Ellicott City, Md., his freshman year ... his Lake Mary team was a two-time 2A Florida state champion (2004 and 2005) and he was the individual 2A Florida state champion in 2005 and 2006 ... he was a two-time AJGA All-American (honorable mention) in 2004 and 2006 ... he won the 2004 Big I Classic in Ardmore, Okla.

PERSONAL: Ji Ho Moon was born Aug. 28, 1988, in Seoul, South Korea ... the son of Young and Sun Moon ... has an older brother, Sung ... majoring in university studies.

KNIGHT ON MOON: 'Ji is a big, strong player. He played a lot for us last year as a freshman and added a lot to that team. He is very solid and was one of the top juniors in the country coming in to UNLV. I think he is going to be a major factor for us as we go down the line. His overall game has improved a lot and his short game has really improved as well. He is a very hard worker - one of the hardest workers I have ever been around and he is very focused.'
