Gretsch was added to the UNLV women's golf staff in March of 2019.
An Albany, Minnesota native, Gretsch is a former Division I golfer who played collegiately at the University of Minnesota. While injuries cut her career short, Gretsch pursued an interest in becoming a golf instructor and moved to Las Vegas to attend the Professional Golf Management program at UNLV. She completed her PGA qualifications in 2017 and became a member of the PGA, with a focus on golf instruction.
While completing her PGA certification, Gretsch observed and work under Top 50 female instructor Mary Hafeman in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In early 2016, she joined the team at the Butch Harmon School of Golf, where was directly learning and working under Butch Harmon. Under the tutelage of Harmon, Gretsch observed countless lessons, which included beginner golfers to the top players in the world such as Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, Jimmy Walker, Gary Woodland, Nick Watney, Natalie Gulbis, and Suzann Pettersen.
Gretsch was originally introduced to the game of golf at the age of three and started competing at the age of seven, going on to win numerous junior tournaments throughout her prep career.
