Anthony Wilkins was hired as an assistant coach for the UNLV men's basketball program in April of 2025.
Wilkins joins the Runnin' Rebels from UTRGV (Texas-Rio Grande Valley), where he was an assistant coach during the 2024-25 season.
Prior to that, he was an assistant coach at Vanderbilt for a season after spending five seasons at Georgia Tech with Pastner, where he was an assistant coach for four seasons before being promoted to associate head coach in 2022-23.
While with the Yellow Jackets, he made major contributions in player and skill development, aiding in the on-court growth of future NBA players Jose Alvarado and Moses Wright.
He also helped lead Georgia Tech to the 2021 ACC Tournament championship and a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
Wilkins was also at Tulane for five seasons where he began as the director of basketball operations before being promoted to assistant coach after his first season.
He began his coaching career at his alma mater Kent State.
