Brandi Slade is now approaching her fourth year coaching the UNLV Rebel Girls. She is a proud UNLV alumna who cheered for the UNLV Rebels for four years. During this time Brandi received a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Brandi was a member of the UNLV Rebel Girls from 2010-2014. During these years, she and her teammates consecutively placed in the top five teams at the Universal Dance Association's National Championship in the 1A Hip Hop Division. She and her teammates won the UDA National Championship in the 1A Hip Hop division in 2013. Brandi was also apart of the first team to compete in the 1A Pom division. After graduating she joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach. She continued to coach under the direction of Marca DeCastroverde for three years. Brandi has trained as a competitive dancer in Hawaii and Las Vegas. She has used her vast background in dance to teach and choreograph at numerous dance and cheer programs throughout the Las Vegas community.
