Dallas O'Haver

Dallas O'Haver joined UNLV swimming and diving as the head diving coach in August 2025.  

Most recently, O'Haver served on the Illinois State coaching staff from 2022-24 as the head diving coach. Overall, he brings seven years of collegiate coaching experience to Las Vegas, with previous stops at Carthage College (2021) and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2018-20).  

During his time with the Redbirds, he led diver Eva Reyes to two MVC 1-meter titles and the 2023 MVC Diver of the Year Award. Additionally, O'Haver also produced several NCAA Zone Qualifiers and several MVC finalists.

Prior to Illinois State, O'Haver served a brief stint at Carthage College as the head diving coach in 2021. In his year with the program, he helped the Firebirds win the 2021 CCIW Championship. During the championship meet, his divers earned five podium finishes, including Sam Wallace taking home the one-meter and three-meter titles with meet records.  

From 2018 to 2020, O'Haver was a volunteer coach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he helped diver McKenzie Sanchez win the one-meter conference title in 2020.  

Prior to joining the college coaching ranks, O'Haver coached at Racine William Horlick High School from 2017-19 and at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center, where he guided multiple athletes to the USA Junior Nationals and YMCA Nationals.  

A former student-athlete, O'Haver dove collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, being named to the Dean's Honor List and WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. He then transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where he also made the Dean's Honor List and Provost's honor list.  

A native of Racine, Wisconsin, O'Haver graduated from UWP in 2020 with bachelor's degrees in history and secondary education.
