Erik Schwarz is in his 13th year as a member of the UNLV Senior Staff, spending nine years as assistant athletics director for facilities/game operations before being promoted to associate AD. 

The 25-season veteran of UNLV Athletics oversees the athletic facilities and game operations for all Rebel sports programs. He also serves as sport administrator for the UNLV men's and women's swimming & diving programs.

Prior to joining the Senior Staff, Schwarz spent seven seasons as director of game operations for the Rebels and four working with the licensing program. 

A native of Bowie, Maryland, Schwarz is a 1993 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in sports management. He received his master’s degree in kinesiology from UNLV in 1997.
