Heather Gardner

Heather Gardner is a Graduate Assistant in Athletics Compliance, bringing a wealth of competitive athletic experience and academic achievement to her role. She competed for four years at Liberty University, qualifying for the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100-meter breaststroke and earning her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Psychology. For her final year of eligibility, Heather transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she capped off her swimming career by helping her relay team set a new school record. She is now in her second year of the Master’s program in Sports Management. 

Gardner is passionate about supporting student-athletes, understanding NCAA compliance regulations, and ensuring program integrity. With her extensive athletic background she contributes to the smooth and efficient operations of the athletic department.
