Jeremiah Lewis

Jeremiah Lewis joined the UNLV sports medicine staff in July 2025 as an assistant athletic trainer. He currently works with the men’s and women’s tennis programs.

Lewis earned his master’s degree in athletic training from California State University, Long Beach in May 2025. As a graduate student, he gained valuable clinical experience at Cerritos College, Mt. San Antonio College, Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and El Camino College. He also assisted with player physicals for the Anaheim Ducks.

A former collegiate track athlete, Lewis began his athletic career at Orange Coast College before transferring to Vanguard University of Southern California. He specialized in the 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m, and 4x400m events. He earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a pre-med emphasis in May 2021 prior to beginning his journey in athletic training.

Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Lewis was first introduced to athletic training as a student aide at Golden West College, which sparked his passion for the field and led him to pursue a professional career in sports medicine.
