LAS VEGAS: The UNLV Runnin? Rebels will be Burnin? Up The Court! with exciting home games at the Thomas & Mack Center over the next three months.

The Saturday Special season ticket plan will be offered for six Saturday games over the remainder of the 1999-2000 home schedule. The special will offer lower level and balcony season tickets including scholarship donations at a 50 percent discount off regular season ticket prices.

The six Saturday games which will be included in the special are: Dec. 18, The Las Vegas Showdown which has second-ranked Arizona vs. Nebraska at 6:30 p.m. and the Runnin? Rebels host 17th?ranked Oklahoma State at 9 p.m., Jan. 22 vs. San Diego State at 7:35 p.m., Feb. 5 vs. Utah at 7:35 p.m., Feb. 12 vs. Wyoming at 7:35 p.m., Feb. 26 vs. Air Force at 7:35 p.m., March 4 vs. New Mexico at Noon in the regular season finale.

?The Saturday Special is a great plan for families of all ages to come out and enjoy Runnin? Rebel basketball,? said Terry Cottle, UNLV Associate Athletic Director for Sports Marketing. ?The special is also great because it includes The Las Vegas Showdown which has two ranked teams playing at the Thomas & Mack Center that evening.?

The Runnin? Rebels are 5-1 on the season and return home for four games which begins on Wednesday, Dec. 15, against Austin Peay State at 7:35 p.m. UNLV began the season 5-0 which was the best start in Bill Bayno?s five seasons as head coach.
