For the third consecutive year Michael Griego was awarded First Team All-Western Athletic Conference accolades for his play on the UNLV men's soccer team. This is the fourth time Griego has earned all-conference honors. He was a Second Team All-Big West recipient as a freshman.

Griego finished his career with UNLV last Sunday against TCU. He finished seventh in UNLV annals with 22 goals and 11th in points with 54. He started all 73 of the Rebels games since coming to UNLV in 1995. This season saw Griego play the majority of his time at sweeper, moving from forward to help a relatively young backfield. Despite spending most of his minutes on defense he finished the season with seven points, third best on the team.
