LAS VEGAS - Led by sophomore outside hitter Justine Kamelamela's double-double of 14 kills and 10 digs, the UNLV volleyball team defeated Utah State 3-1 (15-9, 8-15, 15-11, 15-3) Monday night at Lied Gymnasium.

UNLV (8-3) was assisted in the win by junior outside hitter Danielle Gerlach who recorded 10 kills. Senior setter Meri-de Boyer added 42 assists.

Utah State (3-6) was led by junior outside hitter Nicki Fusco's team-highs of 12 kills and 10 digs.

The Rebels recorded 55 kills to the Aggies' 48 and out-hit Utah State .193 to .183.

UNLV's next action will be Saturday, Sept. 26 as it hosts San Diego State at 7:00 p.m. at Lied Gymnasium.
