LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The 37th-ranked UNLV women's tennis team lost its third consecutive match of the season, 6-3, to No. 2-ranked UCLA at the Los Angeles Tennis Center Saturday.
The Lady Rebels (3-3) lost four of six singles matches and two of three in doubles.
UNLV's singles wins came from Gee Gee Garvin and Marie Linusson at the third and sixth spots respectively. In doubles, the 10th-ranked duo of Garvin and Susie Kocsis defeated Katia Roubanova and Elizabeth Schmidt at the top sot, 9-7.
The Lady Rebels are scheduled to play at No. 25 Southern Cal on Sunday.
