LAS VEGAS - UNLV's top men's player Asaf Tishler moved up 31 spots to a career-high No. 40 in the nation in the Rolex Collegiate Tennis Rankings, which were released by the ITA Wednesday.

Tishler, 18-8 overall, was named the WAC's Player of the Week on Tuesday. His previous high in the rankings came in February when he stood 55th.

Joining Tishler in the rankings for the first time was the doubles team of Nenad Zivkovic and Gregor Skorin (9-4). The freshmen duo from Yugoslavia broke into the rankings at No. 38.

The UNLV men (8-6) moved up six spots to No. 32, just one behind the WAC's top-ranked team Texas Christian.

On the women's side, UNLV (5-8) tumbled 36 spots to No. 72. The Lady Rebels are led by the doubles team of Gee Gee Garvin and Susie Kocsis (14-9) who fell two spots to No. 15 nationally.

The next Rolex rankings will be released on April 7.
