LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Rebel softball team will begin conference play on Friday, March 31st in a doubleheader against BYU at the Rebel Softball Diamond. The first pitch will be thrown out at 12 noon.

First, the Rebels will face No.11 Cal State-Fullerton at home on Wednesday. The doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 12 noon. The Titans are 24-5 on the season and are led by Interim Head Coach Michelle Gromacki.

UNLV (13-17) aims to snap a nine-game losing streak this weekend and begin league play with built-up momentum. The Rebels, who were picked to finish fourth in the MWC pre-season coaches poll, currently sit third in the standings entering conference play.
