LAS VEGAS - The UNLV baseball team will play the Alumni on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 1 p.m. at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. The 2001 Rebels will play former players including current professional players. The list of the top players will include: Ryan Ludwick (Oakland A's), Kevin Eberwein (San Diego Padres), Mike Zipser (Philadelphia Phillies), Brian Hertel (Seattle Mariners), Bryan Gidge, Justin Fairbanks and Stacy Kleiner.

The 2001 baseball team, under fifth year head coach Rod Soesbe, will open the season on Friday, Feb. 2, against Washington State at 3:05 p.m. at Wilson Stadium.
