LAS VEGAS - UNLV has sold 10,000 football season tickets for the first time ever, the school announced Wednesday.
"We're obviously pleased that the Las Vegas community has responded to the growing success of Rebel football under head coach John Robinson," Associate Athletics Director for Sports Marketing Terry Cottle said. "We have five great home games this fall and we're optimistic about our crowds, especially vs. a ranked Big Ten Conference team such as Northwestern this Friday."
Reaching the 10,000-ticket milestone comes after the school sold 7,558 season-ticket packages for all of 2000 when the Rebels went 5-0 at home during the regular season.
Season and single-game tickets are currently on sale. Season packages are $100 for sideline seating and $50 in the end zone.
Prices for three of the five home games - vs. Colorado State, San Diego State and Utah -- are $25 for sideline areas and $12 for end zone seats while prices for two Premier Games vs. Northwestern and BYU are $30 (sidelines) and $17 (end zone).
Tickets can be purchased by calling 895-UNLV from Monday through Friday, visiting the Thomas & Mack Center Ticket Office from Monday through Saturday or at any Tickets.com location or by logging on to the website unlvrebels.com.
