Jan. 4, 2002

LAS VEGAS - UNLV women's basketball head coach Regina Miller announced today that senior Courtney Swanson (San Diego, Calif.) has been suspended for two games.

Swanson, a reserve guard for the Lady Rebels, has played in 9-of-12 games this season averaging 2.7 points and shooting 75 percent from the free throw line. She will sit out the next two games against Northern Arizona and New Mexico for violating team rules and standards.
