LAS VEGAS - The Rebels are looking to snap a nine-match losing streak after dropping a pair of matches last week. UNLV, swept by Wyoming and Colorado State on the road, is 0-4 to start MWC play for the first time since 1999. The last two years, the Rebels started the conference season with at least one win in the first four matches.
Senior Shannon Chase matched a season-high with 15 kills at Wyoming and turned her second double-double of the season by adding 11 digs. Chase ranks sixth in the MWC (conf. only matches) with 2.71 digs per game. The Rebels were outblocked 20-4 in the two losses last week.
UNLV travels to San Diego State this week.
