LAS VEGAS - After making its eighth NCAA Tournament appearance in school history and finishing the year with a 23-8 overall record, the UNLV women's basketball team will celebrate the 2001-02 season by holding its annual awards reception on Thursday, April 25 at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas located in the Caesars Palace Forum Shops.

Local television weekend sports anchor Chris Maathuis will serve as the master of ceremonies, while UNLV coach Regina Miller and selected members of the Lady Rebels squad will address those in attendance. A special viewing of the team's NCAA Tournament highlights will also be featured.
