PROVO, Utah - David Trujillo has been named to the 12-member Mountain West Conference Championship All-Tournament Team as voted on by the head coaches, media and sports information directors. The team is comprised of nine position players, a designated hitter, relief pitcher and MVP. Trujillo was selected as the tournament's most productive designated hitter.
Trujillo went 9-for-21 (.429) with 11 RBIs and seven runs scored. He hit a MWC Tournament record five home runs in four games.
The Rebels, 30-30 on the season, won two tournament games against second seeded Utah, but were defeated twice by eventual tournament champion BYU.
