LAS VEGAS - All UNLV fans can get a sneak peek at the 2002 edition of the Rebel football team during a scrimmage at Sam Boyd Stadium on Saturday August 17.

The event, including parking, is free and open to the public.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the squad scheduled to take the field at 7 p.m. for the workout, which will last approximately 90 minutes to two hours. Fans can pick up free schedule magnets and posters that can be autographed by players on the field following the practice, which is the only organized scrimmage scheduled during preseason camp.

Season tickets will be on sale at Sam Boyd Stadium during the event. The Rebels open the season on August 31 by hosting Big Ten Conference power Wisconsin in what is expected to be a state-record crowd. Tickets to that game as well as the other five individual dates are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets right now in four easy ways:
