LAS VEGAS - UNLV announced Thursday that all allotted tickets have been sold for Saturday's season-opening football game vs. No. 25 Wisconsin, but the school has made 2,500 standing-room-only tickets available for the Rebels vs. Badgers.

Fans can purchase the standing-room-only tickets by visiting the Thomas & Mack Center box office today and Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On game day, any remaining standing-room-only tickets can be purchased at Sam Boyd Stadium's box office beginning at 10 a.m. while supplies last. The game will be only the third sell-out in school history and will challenge the state record of 41,238 that attended the 1996 WAC Championship football game in Las Vegas. With such a large crowd expected, the school has released a list of tips to help avoid traffic delays.

Foremost, fans are urged to arrive as early as possible. Parking lots at Sam Boyd Stadium open at 12:00 p.m., which is more than five hours before the 5:45 p.m. kickoff. Ample parking is available so please do not park along Tropicana Avenue or Russell Road. Also, tailgating spots on the new grass field located northwest of the stadium will be available for $5 per vehicle.

The preferred route will take fans east on Russell Road (past Boulder Highway) directly into the stadium. Other routes include heading east on Tropicana directly into the stadium, or going east on Gibson Road (past Boulder Highway) directly into the stadium or heading east on Sunset Road (past Boulder Highway), then left on Burns Road, which takes you to the stadium. Fans are reminded that no bottles, cans, coolers, food and beverages, weapons, mace, signs or other paraphernalia may be brought into the stadium.
