COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Nine UNLV student-athletes were selected to the Academic All-Mountain West Conference softball team, the league announced Monday.
Seniors Melissa Inouye, Arica Painter and Nicole Truax; sophomores Carrie Bayless, Bridget Byrne, Kacey Ellis and Lisa Moses; and freshmen Morgan Bostwick and Amber Campbell were UNLV's representatives on the 42-member squad.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must carry at least a 3.0 GPA and be a starter or significant contributor to the team.
