LAS VEGAS - The UNLV women's basketball team will commence the 2003-04 season on Saturday, Oct. 18 with open practice scheduled from 9 am - Noon in the Cox Pavilion Practice Facility (located in the tunnel of the Cox Pavilion adjacent to the Thomas & Mack Center).

Coming off their third straight postseason appearance and a 17-12 record, the Lady Rebels look to continue last year's success into the 2003-04 season. Key among the returnees is junior forward Sherry McCracklin, a third-team All-Mountain West Conference selection last year and a preseason All-MWC pick this year.
