LAS VEGAS - UNLV head baseball coach Buddy Gouldsmith and his 2003-04 Rebels begin fall practice on October 21 at Earl E. Wilson Stadium on the campus of UNLV.

Practice takes place from Tuesday through Sunday and begins each weekday at approximately 2 p.m. Weekend practices begin at 10 a.m. The Rebels will intrasquad every day for the last two hours of practice.

Fall practice culminates with the annual Fall World Series, Nov. 6-9, and Major League Scout Day is on Nov. 5th.

Practices are open to the public and free of charge.

"I am excited to get on the field for the next three weeks and evaluate our club," said Gouldsmith. "We return eight position players who averaged .360 at the plate last season. We also return over half our home runs and 28 of our 47 wins on the mound. I hope all Rebel fans to stop by Wilson Stadium to get a glimpse of what should be another outstanding Rebel baseball team."
