LAS VEGAS - The UNLV women's basketball team will hold the Lady Rebel Halloween Hoopla on Wednesday, October 29 at the Cox Pavilion. The doors will open at 5 p.m. with the event scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
The night will feature a three-point contest and a scarlet and gray scrimmage for the Lady Rebels. Following the scrimmage will be the Halloween Hoopla After-Party, in which the players and head coach Regina Miller will change into costumes. Contests will be held for both the best Lady Rebel Costume and the best Kids Costume, with the winners of the kids contest winning Rebel prize packs. There will also be other games and contests, with numerous prizes up for grabs including a pair of season tickets for UNLV women's basketball.
At the end of the party, kids will be able to trick or treat around the court with the Lady Rebels, with a variety of treats available including candy, posters, and Rebel pom poms.
The Lady Rebels, under sixth-year head coach Regina Miller, will open their exhibition schedule against the National Women's Basketball League on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cox Pavilion. UNLV's annual "Meet the Lady Rebels Night" will be on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Board Room in the Thomas & Mack Center.
