Rebels Fall To Rams

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The UNLV women's volleyball team moved to 0-2 in Mountain West Conference play with a 3-0 (30-23, 30-26, 30-19) loss to Colorado State on Friday night.

Tarin Keith led the Rebels with nine kills. She also contributed eight digs and three blocks.

Leiana Oswald struggled in the match, tallying only six kills with a -.156 (6-11-32) attack percentage. She also had eight digs.

Christina Kirschner and Sheila Ocasio-Clemente finished with six blocks each, also adding three and five kills respectively.

Nina Franchini, playing in the libero spot, led the team with nine digs.

Kristin Koochi and Tamara Kauliakamoa shared time at the setter spot, finishing with 12 and 11 assists respectively.

Colorado State was led by Casey Baurer's 13 kills and five digs.

UNLV continues conference play on Saturday night when the team travels to Wyoming.
