LARAMIE, Wyo. - The UNLV volleyball team lost their third conference game of the year on Saturday night as the Rebels fell 3-0 to Wyoming in Laramie. Wyoming won by scores of 30-11, 30-14, and 30-19 to improve to 12-6 on the year, 2-2 in the Mountain West, while UNLV fell to 6-8, and 0-3 in the conference.
Leiana Oswald led UNLV with eight kills and eight digs, but no other Rebel had more then four kills for the match. Kristin Koochi finished with 15 assists, while Tamara Kauliakamoa added 11.
The key to the game was the Rebels' hitting percentage, as they finished with a -.062, while Wyoming posted a .396 hitting percentage as a team. Michele Rauter led Wyoming with 14 kills.
UNLV returns to action on Thursday, October 9, as the Rebels host Air Force at 7 p.m.
