LAS VEGAS - The October 18 Homecoming football game pitting UNLV vs. Utah has been selected to be the ESPN+Plus Mountain West Conference Game of the Week, the league announced Monday.
The game will kick off at noon PDT and appear live locally on KFBT-TV Gold 33 (Cable 6) along with 18 other stations in 15 other states along the regional network. Gary Bender will handle play-by-play while JC Pearson will add his analysis and Anne Marie Anderson will serve as sidelines reporter.
The Rebels (4-1) are off to their best start since 1984 and open conference play this weekend by traveling to Air Force (5-1). That game also will be broadcast as the MWC Game of the Week. The November 8 game vs. San Diego State has already been selected by ESPN+Plus as well. However, kickoff times for three Rebel games (at New Mexico, vs. Colorado State and at Wyoming) still have not been determined.
With four games remaining on UNLV's 2003 home football schedule, fans can save money as well as lock in their seat location for the rest of the year and for future seasons by taking advantage of a special prorated ticket offer, which is available now by calling 739-FANS.
The UNLV Four-Game Season Package is priced at only $90 for a sideline seat and just $45 in the end zone. The special offer represents a 25-percent savings compared to purchasing individual-game tickets, which also include game-by-game facility fees.
