REDMOND, Wash. - The UNLV women's golf team showed its consistency, shooting 309 for the second straight day at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational.

The Rebels finished the 54-hole tourney at 64-over par and placed eighth, exactly in the middle of the 15-team field.

Arizona mounted a final-round comeback to defeat California and UCLA by three strokes. The Wildcats capped their 32-over-par tourney with a final-round 304.

The Wildcats also snatched medallist honors from Cal as Erica Blasberg overtook the Bears' Anna Temple for the individual lead. Blasberg tied with Southern California's Irene Cho for the individual crown at three-over par on the par-72, 5,953-yard course.

The tandem of Sunny Oh and Seema Sadekar paved the way for the Rebels' eighth-place showing. Both players tied for 17th place at 13-over par. Sadekar carded a daily best round of 74 to jump up the leaderboard.

Elena Kurokawa also improved her play, shooting 76 in the final round to tie for 21st overall.

Hwanhee Lee held her ground at 49th place after shooting 81 in the final round, and Tina Mabanta's 87 did not figure into the team total.

The Rebels continue fall play in just 11 days when they head to Knoxville, Tenn., to compete in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship on Oct. 19-21.
