ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The UNLV volleyball team fell to New Mexico 3-1 (25-30, 30-26, 30-23, 30-28) on Thursday night in the Johnson Arena on the New Mexico campus.
With the loss, the Rebels fall to 10-14, 3-8 in Mountain West Conference play. The Lobos improve to 4-21, 1-10 in league play.
Sheila Ocasio-Clemente led the Rebels with 15 kills and three blocks. Leiana Oswald put up 14 kills with eight digs and three blocks, while Michele Banks added 10 kills and seven digs.
Nicki King tallied 46 assits with three digs and two blocks. Patricia Assuncao finished with seven kills and three digs.
The Lobos were led by Anna Reines' 26 kills adn three digs.
UNLV continues its conference road swing with a Saturday night stop at Air Force.
