Following their 76-44 win over Texas-San Antonio on Friday night, in which they outscored the Roadrunners 42-14 in the second half, the Lady Rebels will look to remain perfect at home this season as they host the South Florida Bulls on Sunday afternoon. UNLV is 4-0 at home this season, and is 22-3 in the Cox Pavilion over the last three seasons.
The Lady Rebels have been on a tear offensively this season, averaging 73.0 points per game, which leads the Mountain West Conference, and are a perfect 6-0 when they score 70 or more points this season. South Florida meanwhile is averaging just 63.6 points per game, and have reached 70 points just three times this year.
UNLV will look to continue its strong play on the boards and on defense on Sunday. The Lady Rebels are outrebounding their opponents by 11.5 rebounds per contest which ranks them fifth in the country, and they also lead the Mountain West Conference in steals at 11.4 per game (30th in the nation).
Head coach Regina Miller is closing in on her 100th win at UNLV, as she is 99-55 in her six years in Las Vegas. The Lady Rebels are also just one win away from the 550th victory in the program's 30-year history.
