LAS VEGAS - UNLV dropped a 4-3 decision to San Diego State in 10 innings on Saturday afternoon move back into a tie with the Aztecs atop the Mountain West Conference standings. The Rebels moved to 21-9, 6-2 in league play, while the Aztecs improved to 13-17 on the season. The loss also snapped a 12-game home winning streak for the Rebels.

Reliever Ryan Braun (2-1) picked up the loss. He gave up one run on two hits in a single inning of work. Starter Robbie Van gave up only three runs off 10 hits in nine innings of work. He also struck out six.

SDSU's Drew Jenson (4-1) earned the win. He went 5.1 innings, giving up only three hits while striking out six.

Andrew D'Angelo finished the game 3-for-4 at the plate. Six other Rebels contributed a single hit each.

Fernando Valenzuela hit his seventh home run of the season, a three run shot in the fifth inning.

UNLV and San Diego State wrap-up the three-game series on Sunday at 1 p.m.
