COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The 21st-ranked UNLV baseball team earned the season sweep (6-0) over Air Force with a 19-12 eight-inning victory in the second game of a double-header on Sunday at Falcon Field.

With the win, the Rebels improve to 32-11, 15-3 in Mountain West Conference play. The Falcons fall to 11-26, 0-17 in league play.

Jake Vose (6-3) picked up the win for the Rebels. He gave up four runs off ten hits in five innings of work. He also stuck out seven and walked none.

Shane Clatterbuck threw one hitless inning, facing only three batters. Giovanni Pupo and James Wickman struggled in short appearances, giving up four runs each. Matt Wagner finished the game, striking out the only batter he faced.

Air Force's Paul Vignola (5-4) earned the loss. He gave up six runs off nine hits in two innings of work.

Ten Rebels shared in the 20-hit game, with four Rebels posted three hits each. Patrick Dobson went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Fernando Valenzuela finished the game 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Eddie Gill went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored and Peter White finished 3-for-4 with three RBI and four runs scored.

Brent Johnson and Garett Shitanishi contributed a pair of hits, while four other Rebels pick up single hits.

UNLV hosts UC Riverside on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. before hosting a three-game set with BYU.
