LAS VEGAS - Theresa Logar of Stanford won the singles title while Florida's tandem of Boglarka Berecz and Nina Suvak took home the doubles crown Sunday at the Freeman Memorial Women's Tennis Championships at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on the campus of UNLV.
Logar, unseeded in the 32-player field, eased by third seed Aniela Mojzis of North Carolina in the final, 6-2, 6-1.
Berecz and Suvak, seeded second, had to win twice on the last day. The Gator duo first downed Joslynn Burkett and Capanollo of Arizona State, 8-4, and then got by Tennessee's Ashley Robards and Sabita Maharaj by the same score in the final.
Lady Vol Blakely Griffith won the consolation singles bracket.
