Lady Rebels Play Last Non-Conference Road Game

With the Lady Rebels' non-conference schedule winding down, UNLV takes to the road for its last non-conference road game of the year as they take on St. Mary's (7-5) on Saturday at 7 pm in Moraga, Calif. UNLV looks to continue its four-game win streak, but are just 2-2 on the road this season. St. Mary's is 4-1 at home, but have won their last two games in McKeon Pavilion by a combined four points. The Gaels' will also be using a young lineup, with four freshmen and one sophomore in the starting lineup.

UNLV has the best overall record in the Mountain West Conference at 9-2, and have been sweeping up the MWC weekly honors as well, as a Lady Rebel has been named the conference Player of the Week four of the first six weeks of the season, with Sherry McCracklin the most recent for UNLV for the week of Dec. 29.

The Lady Rebels have been on a tear offensively this season, averaging 73.0 points per game, which leads the Mountain West Conference, and are a perfect 8-0 when they score 70 or more points.

UNLV will look to continue its strong play on the boards and on defense this afternoon. The Lady Rebels are outrebounding their opponents by 9.0 rebounds per contest which ranks them fifth in the country, and they also lead the Mountain West Conference in steals at 10.8 per game (30th in the nation).
