LAS VEGAS - Balcony level tickets for the UNLV men's basketball game on Sat., Jan. 31 against New Mexico at 6 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center are $5 (plus a $2 facility fee) in an effort to "Pack The Mack" and generate the largest home attendance of the season.

The game was originally scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. but has been moved up 90 minutes to accommodate a television request.

Last year's "Pack The Mack" night vs. Wyoming drew 16,701 fans. The largest home attendance figure so far this season has been 12,196 against Bradley on Dec. 28.

Saturday is also Kids Safety Night. Representatives from local police, fire and paramedic units will be outside of the Thomas & Mack Center one hour before the game. Kids will have the opportunity to climb in the safety vehicles and interact with representatives from those organizations.

Additionally, the UNLV baseball team will be greeting fans at the door and will be honored at halftime with a ring ceremony for its 2003 Mountain West Conference championship.
