UNLV will try to sweep San Diego State in regular season play for the first time in Mountain West Conference history as the Rebels travel to California to play the Aztecs on Oct. 22. Both teams had the same results last weekend, as they each swept both Air Force and New Mexico in three straight games. This will be the only match of the weekend for the Rebels, who start the second half of their Mountain West Conference regular season schedule.

ABOUT THE AZTECS: It has been either feast or famine lately for San Diego State, as 11 of its last 12 matches have been decided in three games. Unfortunately for the Aztecs, nine of those 11 sweeps have been loses. Their last two matches though were 3-0 defeats of New Mexico and Air Force. Since starting the season with 13 straight loses, SDSU is 3-4 in its last seven matches. Kara Moriarty leads the Aztecs with 3.59 kills per game. Kristin Castillo sets the offense and hands out 10.30 assists per game.
