UNLV HEAD COACH John Robinson
On the Game: "That game almost defies any kind of explanation. It was the worst exhibition of poise by a defense that I have ever seen."
On why his team couldn't make tackles: "I don't know. I just don't know."
On his team racking up a school-record 22 penalties for 167 yards: "There is no explanation. I mean, it wasn't a perfectly called game but you sure can't blame the officials for that debacle."
"We are playing hard; we're trying. We have lost any sense of poise and I don't know what it is, maybe the situation we are in. It is hard just to get them to stay on balance."
"We just are not playing the game the way we are supposed to be playing. Right now we are playing street ball and we need to get it figured out in the next two weeks."
On Wyoming: "Wyoming is doing a good job. They are playing well. Right now, I don't know if it would matter if the other team even showed up with the mistakes we are making."

On The Game: "To know what is going on with us the last couple of years and the price these guys have paid, to just see them keep fighting was just great. This was a big win for us."
"It shows a lot of our character, to be on the road against a good team. Even though their record isn't what they want it to be, they are a good team. They have talent, you can see it. It was just a hard-fought game. It was a battle. Both sides played so hard to win. They did a great job, but we just had a little more in us at the end."
On backup quarterback J.J. Raterink, who threw for 227 yards and four TDs off the bench: "I knew he could do it. And he knew he could do it. His day finally came and boy, did he answer. I am so proud of J.J."
On whether he feels his team deserves a bowl bid: "Well, you saw us out there. You've seen us compete. I have to see who else is out there, but we are a pretty neat story. We have a win on the road now and we play everyone tough. I think we deserve a shot."
